Micro PaT Turbine Pump as Turbine (PaT) unit is a specially selected centrifugal pump that is run in reverse and used as a Turbine. These units have a wide application range and operate at relatively high efficiencies. A specialized PaT controller locally developed to operate these units with high stability and stable outputs even with fluctuating pressure delivery. These turbines have the advantage of being more affordable than traditional Francis turbines and spares are readily available and more affordable. These Micro turbines can be used to supplement existing solar installations and stand alone power. The Turbine curves are specially defined using the Head and Flow parameters provided and each unit is carefully selected to operate in Turbine mode as these modes differ substantially from the traditional Pumping modes.
